Empowering Afghan Women and Girls
Since the Taliban's return to power, Afghan women and girls have faced a devastating rollback of their rights. Denied access to education, employment, and public life, they have been silenced and forced into the shadows of society. Schools for girls beyond the sixth grade are closed, universities are barred to women, and restrictions on work have pushed countless families into despair.
In response to this dire situation, with the help of my dedicated team, I established a secret educational program in Afghanistan, supported by generous sponsors. This initiative provides Afghan women and girls, aged 12 to 45, with essential educational services such as language learning, art, self-empowerment, and therapy sessions. These classes aim to reignite hope and help students reclaim their confidence, enabling them to envision and work toward a future grounded in equality and justice.
Through these secret classes, we strive to empower Afghan women to resist oppression, foster resilience, and become catalysts for change in their communities.
